What strikes me funny about all these pictures is that every one has an old-school looking date-stamp. Somehow I couldn't figure out how to turn it off, let alone get the date right.

Dude, seriously. More like your cooking life, though. I had been afraid to make fried chicken for sooo long because every time I did it, it did not work out! Me and my mom tried it over and over but we would burn it, the flour wouldn't stick, we'd forget the salt or not know what seasonings to use, and man would it be disappointing! But really, who wants to spend 2 hours making something wrong, and resulting in an over-greasy, burnt, not-worth-the-unhealthy ingredients dinner?!? We had even tried the dried mashed potatoes thing, but why do we have to go through such an effort and use strange ingredients just to make something so many people can do in a heartbeat? Makeup and Hair in the 1800's

Hey guys, I haven't been blogging as much since Summer came on! I'd much rather be outside swimming, walking, and getting sun because I'm completely famished of it from the winter. I literally could move to California because all this depressing cold 6 months of the year in the Midwest just isn't working for me! Anyways, recently I've been getting really into 18th and 19th century reading. More specifically, authors from that time like Jane Austen, George MacDonald, and Charles Dickens. Somehow I just cannot ever remember Charles Dickens name when I need to because I read his book David Copperfield and it just mixes me up so bad! So, after reading all this about the 18 and 1900's, I just got really curious about their real life like hygiene, makeup, and hair. Pumpkin Streusel Bundt Cake

I couldn't stop eating this, so I quickly portioned out pieces to send home with my guests after we all ate our share. Of course, they loved it. Why? It wasn't so sweet that a vegan could only eat one square inch before launching into a diabetic coma! Originally, the recipe was only lightly dusted with a fraction of a teaspoon of powdered sugar. And you know, that ain't gonna cut it for me! I knew it wouldn't be as tasty without some other flavor and texture to top it with. Therefore, I made a streusel. It was different from ones I had made before, because you used melted butter and then mixed it in the already-warm pan that you heated it with. What? Tried it anyway. A Little Something I Wrote in School...

Betty and another pilot named George were on their way to El Real for a missions trip. THUNK! Betty quickly swung her head around to see what had happened. Her friend George accidentally smashed their only red waco biplane into a shed that sat next the airstrip in El Real! How could this have happened? He was a really good pilot! It spun 180 degrees before she could do anything. “ Get out now!” she yelled, “It’s going to blow up!” They ran for cover, but no fire broke out. The red waco biplane was a mess! It was broken. It was chipped. It was banged up. Pilot Betty displayed her bravery in this disaster by protecting them both and not just standing there gaping. She was a brave pilot who used wings to serve God. Betty Greene wanted to use her interest in planes to serve God from when she was considerably little. Molten Chocolate Brownies

This is a really short post, because I'm practically dying on this office chair. I just really wanted to tell you about the most simple, impressive, and heavenly dessert I've made all in one, yet. Step 1. Make brownie batter. Use the best recipe you have, or just buy a mix.  Step 2. Pour into muffin cups, only filling 1/3 of each. Spoon a cluster of chocolate chips into the center. Fill the rest of the way up with brownie batter. Step 3. Bake like you would cupcakes, but make sure the brownies are pulling away from the pan before you take out of the oven. Using the toothpick method won't work because the center is supposed to be gooey with chocolate. Wait for it to cool a few minutes, and gently set each one on a rack and EAT IMMEDIATELY! If you don't, the innards won't be molten! You can also re-heat it in the oven if you make them for later. Step 4: Indulge. Drink milk.
