Twists, twists, and more twists!

I watched a few youtube videos after my mom suggested I do this style and at first I was thinking that we would be sitting doing twists for like 5 hours!



So, I started the tedious twists. Thankfully we were watching a movies so we weren't like totally bored. Then, B wanted to help too so I was just like sure! 


It actually only took 2 1/2 hours thanks to the help of B and it came out really good! Z insists that she wants it in a "messy bun"

Dude, seriously. More like your cooking life, though. I had been afraid to make fried chicken for sooo long because every time I did it, it did not work out! Downtown Chicago Pictures+Touring German Cousin Around...

Just recently, my cousin came to stay with us from Germany and it's been a blast! We've done a lot of photography together but I think the best so far is from downtown Chicago. Moisture Stick DIY

This guy is a lot like those sunscreen sticks you see during sunburn season. My moisture stick goes on much smoother though, and has a different purpose. Nobody likes dry skin, especially when it comes in little patches on your hands or face. The whole reason I made this was by request of my dad. He has one, bright, red, patch of annoying eczema on his face in between his eyes and beard. Why couldn't it just hide itself somewhere under the legions of hair?!? Anyway, spur-of-the moment he asked me to make something for it that he could apply really easily and had all-natural ingredients. He isn't too happy about putting gobs of chemically scented and colored "moisturizers" mostly consisting of toxic unpronounceable poisons. Pumpkin Streusel Bundt Cake

I couldn't stop eating this, so I quickly portioned out pieces to send home with my guests after we all ate our share. Of course, they loved it. Why? It wasn't so sweet that a vegan could only eat one square inch before launching into a diabetic coma! Originally, the recipe was only lightly dusted with a fraction of a teaspoon of powdered sugar. And you know, that ain't gonna cut it for me! I knew it wouldn't be as tasty without some other flavor and texture to top it with. Therefore, I made a streusel. It was different from ones I had made before, because you used melted butter and then mixed it in the already-warm pan that you heated it with. What? Tried it anyway.
