Food Nails

I love these, but it makes me realize that any country that is painting food on their nails must be pretty rich. They are pretty cute though, and I have attempted at the watermelon ones on a simpler scale!

Pumpkin Streusel Bundt Cake

I couldn't stop eating this, so I quickly portioned out pieces to send home with my guests after we all ate our share. Of course, they loved it. Why? It wasn't so sweet that a vegan could only eat one square inch before launching into a diabetic coma! Originally, the recipe was only lightly dusted with a fraction of a teaspoon of powdered sugar. And you know, that ain't gonna cut it for me! I knew it wouldn't be as tasty without some other flavor and texture to top it with. Therefore, I made a streusel. It was different from ones I had made before, because you used melted butter and then mixed it in the already-warm pan that you heated it with. What? Tried it anyway. Downtown Chicago Pictures+Touring German Cousin Around...

Just recently, my cousin came to stay with us from Germany and it's been a blast! We've done a lot of photography together but I think the best so far is from downtown Chicago. Anyways, we went downtown with my cousin to show her some cool Chicago and I was like... Time for camera action. And I took that. A lot of times I feel like the city is so ugly why would I want to take a freakin' picture of it? But, I realized it was time to embrace were I live. Nature is God's Canvas

During my several visits to The Farm, I've found out the nature is not just beautiful, it's breathtaking. So I had the urge to take pictures of it. However, I have a really crappy point-and-shoot camera that aggravates me beyond belief. I'm hoping to get a much nicer one soon. I know what pictures can look like, and being perfectionistic, when I can't get a picture that a 600 dollar camera would take with 30 dollar one, I get frustrated. I guess I'm overestimating what my poor decade-old camera can do.
