Makover fun!

I decided to have some makeup fun today and hired my brother as the photographer:
    He took like 1,000 pictures and here was one of the amateur makeup artist.
Each of our clients were ecstatic to get their spa.

Despite their excitement to begin, we took before&after pictures.

Dude, seriously. More like your cooking life, though. I had been afraid to make fried chicken for sooo long because every time I did it, it did not work out! Me and my mom tried it over and over but we would burn it, the flour wouldn't stick, we'd forget the salt or not know what seasonings to use, and man would it be disappointing! Pumpkin Streusel Bundt Cake

I couldn't stop eating this, so I quickly portioned out pieces to send home with my guests after we all ate our share. Of course, they loved it. Why? It wasn't so sweet that a vegan could only eat one square inch before launching into a diabetic coma! Originally, the recipe was only lightly dusted with a fraction of a teaspoon of powdered sugar. And you know, that ain't gonna cut it for me! I knew it wouldn't be as tasty without some other flavor and texture to top it with. Therefore, I made a streusel. It was different from ones I had made before, because you used melted butter and then mixed it in the already-warm pan that you heated it with. What? Tried it anyway. Nature is God's Canvas

During my several visits to The Farm, I've found out the nature is not just beautiful, it's breathtaking. So I had the urge to take pictures of it. However, I have a really crappy point-and-shoot camera that aggravates me beyond belief. I'm hoping to get a much nicer one soon. I know what pictures can look like, and being perfectionistic, when I can't get a picture that a 600 dollar camera would take with 30 dollar one, I get frustrated. I guess I'm overestimating what my poor decade-old camera can do.

The Answer to Remembering all Those Prayer Requests

The Prayer Wall It used to be that when I sat down during my quiet time, I could literally never remember everything I was praying for. My other issue was that I'm terrible at memorizing stuff, so all the prayer requests I got pretty much went out the back window of my brain after the conversation was over. There was a need for a real SOLUTION. My solution was the prayer wall. It's a place were I put pictures, prayer requests, and those flyer people make with the stuff they need prayer for. It really helps and I love it because every time I come in my room it's like a little reminder goes off in my mind to pray! After I had my prayer wall for a while, I started brainstorming how we could get the family's prayers all in one place that would be cute and match the rest of the house.
