"We just got that huge rain you guys had a few weeks ago! We literally had waves of water on the streets and people basements flooded while the water was coming for real, dumps!!!!!!!!!!! Our whole patio was covered in 3 inches of water and the near by park's grass was a swamp! Under bridges were the road dipped down cars were FLOATING and people were trying to drive on the sidewalk! It was absolute chaos. We had puddles on the sides of roads that were a foot deep and gutters were overflowing and flooding the sidewalks. In some areas water was practically as deep as a kiddie pool!!!!" - My Daily News

I couldn't stop eating this, so I quickly portioned out pieces to send home with my guests after we all ate our share. Of course, they loved it. Why? It wasn't so sweet that a vegan could only eat one square inch before launching into a diabetic coma! Originally, the recipe was only lightly dusted with a fraction of a teaspoon of powdered sugar. Downtown Chicago Pictures+Touring German Cousin Around...

Just recently, my cousin came to stay with us from Germany and it's been a blast! We've done a lot of photography together but I think the best so far is from downtown Chicago. Anyways, we went downtown with my cousin to show her some cool Chicago and I was like... Time for camera action. And I took that. A lot of times I feel like the city is so ugly why would I want to take a freakin' picture of it? But, I realized it was time to embrace were I live. Nature is God's Canvas

During my several visits to The Farm, I've found out the nature is not just beautiful, it's breathtaking. So I had the urge to take pictures of it. However, I have a really crappy point-and-shoot camera that aggravates me beyond belief. I'm hoping to get a much nicer one soon. I know what pictures can look like, and being perfectionistic, when I can't get a picture that a 600 dollar camera would take with 30 dollar one, I get frustrated. I guess I'm overestimating what my poor decade-old camera can do.

Fried Chicken+My Hilarious Mistake

Dude, seriously. More like your cooking life, though. I had been afraid to make fried chicken for sooo long because every time I did it, it did not work out! Me and my mom tried it over and over but we would burn it, the flour wouldn't stick, we'd forget the salt or not know what seasonings to use, and man would it be disappointing! But really, who wants to spend 2 hours making something wrong, and resulting in an over-greasy, burnt, not-worth-the-unhealthy ingredients dinner?!? We had even tried the dried mashed potatoes thing, but why do we have to go through such an effort and use strange ingredients just to make something so many people can do in a heartbeat? Why couldn't we just make normally like those awesome Mississippi cooks? I found ALL THE ANSWERS in this one video, made by a blogger/youtuber lady.
